This policy explains what personal data roboskills.org collects, why, and what rights you have. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who collects the data
Insynergi Oy, the company behind Roboskills, Finland. For any question about your data, write to info@roboskills.org.
What we collect
Through the pre-registration form: your email address and, only if you choose to tell us, the disciplines that interest you and how you'd like to take part. We also store the site language you used and when you gave consent. We do not ask for your name, date of birth, address or any other personal data.
Why
To send you information about Roboskills Competition: the rules, the invitation to complete registration, and changes to the venue, schedule or programme. Your answers about disciplines and format help us plan the event.
Legal basis
Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Children
The competition is open to all ages. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to sign up for you.
Who can see it
Only the organisers. The data is stored in Microsoft Azure data centres in the EU, and emails are sent through Google Workspace. We never sell your data or publish email addresses.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe we keep only the record that you did, so we don't email you again.
Spam protection
To stop automated abuse we count requests per visitor. We store only a salted hash of the IP address, never the address itself.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Your browser remembers the language you chose, on your device only.
The assistant
If you use the chat assistant, your question and the page you are on are sent to Microsoft's Azure OpenAI service to produce the answer. We do not store the conversation. Please don't type personal details into the chat.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent at any time — every email has an unsubscribe link, or write to info@roboskills.org. You also have the right to complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
